2011 Lexus RX is redesigned and comes with a seating capacity to accommodate five passengers. The vehicle is electrically assisted with 3.3 liters. Anyways, there are minor changes added on 2011 model. A 12-volt outlet has moved from inside the center console to outside for easier access. Moreover, models with the optional navigation system don’t get compass from the inside due to inbuilt compass of navigation system for 2011. Even though the vehicle has few hairs taller than its previous model, it looks more or less similar to its precursor.

The backside of this vehicle is frosted with tail light effects similar to previous model. It has standard 18-inch alloy wheels with optional 19-inch wheels. Some exterior features are front bumper design, unique grille, blue-trimmed Lexus logos, optional LED headlights, and blue-tinted taillights as well as headlights. Coming to interior, it has real wood interior trim, standard cloth seats, optional leather, and 10-way power front seats.

Engine Specs

2011 Lexus RX makes use of a gasoline 3.5-liter V-6 engine, which is assisted by electric motors; this engine develops 295 horsepower. The estimated mileage of this engine is 32 miles per gallon on highways and 30 miles per gallon in city. The engine can cruise on electric-only power at low speeds. Similar to other hybrid mechanisms, its electric motors will get power from the deceleration known as regenerative braking. Anyways, the engine is mated to a continuously variable automatic transmission. The maximum towing capacity of this engine is 3,500 pounds.
